COMING IN 2027: The first-ever Read-Aloud Revival Conference!

Hi Reader,

It’s fiiiiinally happening! We’re hosting our first-ever in-person Read-Aloud Revival Conference . . . and I could not be more excited.

I’ll give you the details quick, and then I wanted to tell you a bit more about why we’re doing this.

  • Dates: April 30 - May 1, 2027
  • Location: Franklin, TN (about 45 minutes south of Nashville)
  • Theme: Make Reading a Way of Life
  • Tickets go on sale: Dec 7

➡️ RAR Premium Members get early ticket access on Nov 18. (There's a limited number of tickets, so it's a good idea to be an RAR Premium Member before Nov 18. That way you'll get early access to tickets AND Christmas School too. Win-win.)

Okay, so... WHY?

Over the last decade, I’ve spoken on dozens of stages, sharing the same message I share with you here: focus on what matters, as consistently as you’re able, putting relationships first.

When I took a break from speaking in 2025, I started dreaming about an entire event built around that idea.

What if you had time to let a good idea sink in? To talk with another mom who understands? To remember how much joy there is in sharing books with your kids?

What if you went home thinking, “I can do this”... and actually felt like you could?

So that’s exactly the kind of event we’re creating for you.

I’ll tell you more about what’s in store for the Read-Aloud Revival conference closer to when we release tickets. But for now, know that our team is working hard to make this a one-of-a-kind event full of renewal, relationships, and enrichment. 🙌🏼

You can get more details and sign-up for the wait list here.

I hope to see you there!

xo, Sarah

P.S. Oh! Did I mention?? RAR favorite Andrew Peterson will be our very special musical guest for the weekend? 😮 Eeeeek! It’s true!

They’re often the first books babies and littles can really get their hands (and mouths!) on, giving them the chance to touch the pictures and turn the pages all by themselves. So today,...

Hey Reader, We all want our kids to be readers. Not just kids who can read, but kids who actually do read. Kids who then grow up and keep choosing to read because they want to, not because they have to. But there’s a curious thing that those of us who care deeply about raising lifelong readers tend to do, which is to treat our kids’ reading lives in exactly the opposite way that adult readers actually read. We choose all their books. We tell them how long to read for. We ask them questions to...
